Our first original product with a 77cm total length and 1.2m canopy diameter of UME ORIGINAL colour 'sage' and double ventilation stitching. Twist-and-lock opening system, with additional wood resin sleeve with ergonomic design for complete comfort and grip. Available in 'forest green' and 'charcoal grey'.
THE MANUFACTURE PROCESS
A number of components and contributions were vital in creating UME. Significant acknowledgements should go to the MACE workshop staff, for their diligent manufacture of parts from raw materials. Fiona, from the University sewing department, was able to bring a professional finish to our canopy design.

WATER REPELLANCE
The material of the canopy, plus a hydrophobic spray coating, allow for complete resistance to the wet weather.
AGAINST THE WIND
Wind testing was done via simulations and in wind tunnels - to show the product can withstand even the most blustery of gales.
